This time he's going back on a personal trip to the island to visit his "old friend" as well as complete his unfinished tour to Palawan.

It's just a list of possible interesting places in Palawan, tourist spots usually, that Tutubi might visit if he has the time or can afford it.

I've been to Palawan pero d ko xa nilibot. I'm limiting my travels this year, as in, kelangan na mag-ipon, saving fr a long term secret trip ths year hopefully. hehe hays, if I only have the funds to go back to Ilocos now, pero pag natuloy ang trip ko ths year, I'll surely drop by in your hometown, hahanapin ko tlga kau ni baby tutubi! :D
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your journey back to Palawan po. I can't forget your Palawan post. I know how sad it is to have lost an old friend, I lost one 8 yrs ago, she's my inspiration for my 1st solitary trip, reason why I always go back to Benguet. I dnt know which is sadder, to lose a friend while you're with him or to lose a friend while you see her all over the news fighting for her life but you can't be there. I'm glad though you'll be able to complete you're Palawan journey after what happened, I know it's not easy to go back. Stay tough, I'm sure you're friend will be smiling because you still remember him when most people have forgotten the tragic incident already. Have a safe travel tutubi! :)

thepinaysolobackpacker, it's been five years...i almost stopped travelling due to that incident but after a few months, I started this blog :P it's very difference when you lost someone knowing you could have saved him but can't since you're in the same situation. what happened was every man to himself. you won't see me much in paete as only my parents are there. perhaps this holy week though...ang haba ng comment hehe i've visited that pinoy travel bloggers page once thru Estan's multiple post...i'm not a big blogger so i'm not welcome there? :P

ReplyDeletedi ko mapigilan mag-comment dito kasi tungkol sa palawan (tumira kasi ako dun) at im a bit sad sa nangyari sa friend mo.
anyway, you may want to add "balinsasayaw restaurant" in puerto, they serve balinsasayaw soup (bird's nest) and the best dessert- ice cream in a coconut shell topped with cashew nuts.
also, same with pinaysolobackpacker, we want to add you in Pinoy Travel bloggers. :) hope thats okay with u
journeyingjames, that ice cream and kasuy is intriguing. balinsasayaw is the name ofthe bird making those nests...will try but can't promise. i literally "outsourced" almost all planning now to a friend. i'm currently up north in ilocandia, will be in manila tomorrow, then fly to palawan friday...too hectic
