In the Philippines, almost everyone has his/her own tales of true ghosts. One of the more famous places of sightings is Balete Drive in New Manila, Quezon City that Tutubi sometimes drive by at night on his way home with not even a trace of the famous "white lady" of Balete Drive.
On the Island of Corregidor, ghost hunting activities at night used to be promoted at the ruins of Corregidor Hospital. The "ghost hunting" tour guides reportedly allows the tour participants to take pictures of ruins using flashlights and just look at the resulting image for hazy, ghost-like impressions on "film."

I miss the documentaries of this kind being featured in local televisions before All Souls Day. I remember that feature about Manila City, both the ghosts and greedy ghosts stories.
ReplyDeletevisited old buildings just for the heck of it about a year ago. no sightings or feelings of ghostly activities though. just a lot of dust and crumbling books and posters. heheh.

ReplyDeleteGhost tours are awesome. They fill us with history, both bad and good. And as far as ghost hunting, I love it, it's exciting when you have an event you simply cannot explain or catch something really interesting on your equipment. And from years of experience, There is something out there, just don't know whether it's ghosts, demons, or what, but something is there.
