Tutubi's Best Journey in Life

A couple of months ago, a Singapore-based travel agency offered to buy this blog probably to turn it into a vehicle to promote their online booking facility with focus on the Asian travel market. The negotiations went only as far as the monthly compensation in addition to Tutubi keeping all earnings from Adsense et al but he decided not to sell this blog for one "small" reason:

He already has someone who he dreams will take over the "operations" of this blog in the future: Tutubi, Jr.

There are only a handful of bloggers out there who personally knew Tutubi, but since his son looks so much like him, that he even calls his son "Mini Me," at least readers of this blog will get an idea how Tutubi actually looks like.

baby watching Barney on a laptop while his neighbors are swimming in floodwaters brought by typhoon Ondoy somewhere in Quezon City

teaching his baby financial literacy for him to grow up as a money smart individual
smiling babysmiling baby: perfect stress reliever after a hard day's work

No, being a father won't stop Tutubi from traveling, as most travel bloggers out there are single, but he now avoids long trips away from home.

A few months of being a father is just the beginning of the trip he considers the best journey of his life!

  8. Congrats Tutubi... your baby is almost as cute as you... you got a very serious competitor here! :-) This guy will change your life forever... but a word of warning... this roller coaster will go fast... I still remember (like it was yesterday) holding my son in my arms for the first time ... and now he is almost taller than me... :-(
So enjoy every minute you can be with him.

  11. Hi, Tutubi. Congrats for having Tutubi Jr. My tutubi jr., este, dodongflores III will come out on March, but I don't have any idea yet whether it is a boy or a girl. I also have a "walaydulonan" web site that I'm planning my kids will take over someday. We have the same line of thoughts, eh? :D
After I got married, I realized I'd been more limited in traveling of which I really love to do. I wonder how will I be able to travel when a baby is already there.
My photography equipment, ipagawa ko pa sa Harrison Plaza kasi baka sinira ni Ondoy. Sa ngayon, bike commuting na lang muna pinagkaabalahan ko :D

dodong, you're recently married unlike me, double more than 2 years already. ok naman cameras ko, problem ko ngayon kotse ko which was totally submerged by Andoy (probably 10 feet of flood water). balik bus and mrt ako everyday kasi haba pila sa casa and shops are also booked up to now
