15 hours one way ? ugh, that's too long. For a round trip of P2,000 - how much cheaper is it compared to the plane ?

ReplyDeletePhiltranco has an earlier departure time from Pasay to Caticlan supposedly 9am but we left pass 11am becoz of the lousy conductor.
ReplyDeleteCost around 1.3K
This already includes all ride related payments..
Dont mind asking the Pasay office of Philtranco bout the trip back becoz according to them, schedules are reliant on the waiting time and roro availability.
Hi!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this site, I had successfully reach Boracay via Nautical Highway from Batangas - Calapan - Caticlan, thru Roxas Port - Mindoro last May 1, 2011 upon arrival at NAIA. My last posted here was April 8, 2011 as Anonymous searching on how to reach by land. Without any reservation done, I was able to travel and commute only from Taft Ave. any available bus going to Batangas Pier and Multi-Van upon arrival in Calapan Pier. Really! it was very exciting, I suggest you should try it. Again, thanks to this Site especially to Tutubi.
astig pala try q rin mag roro hehehe
ReplyDeletemagkano po ba ang bayad sa roro kung may dalang generator inter island malaki po kasi may gulong po ito
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your awesome information. I've been able to create an itinerary for our RORO trip to Boracay with the information from your page (and from the other pages it links to). I have been able to obtain fares and fees for the shipping lines and have a general idea of the pros and cons. I've two questions though:
1. Which line is better (in terms of facilities, speed, safety) Montenegro or Starlite?
2. Are there other fees we will be paying for aside from the ferry fares, environmental fee (50/head), and Caticlan port terminal fee (50/head)?
I've looked everywhere but couldn't find information about that. Would greatly appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks!
nikki, i have a newer "how to get to boracay" post here. just look for it :P

ReplyDeletewhat s the earliest schedule for tomorrow from manila to caticlan?
ReplyDeleteWhy not try 2GO Travel(formerly Superferry)? They have 2x Daily trip to Caticlan via Batangas Port.
ReplyDeleteIf your from Manila, kindly search RM liner, the best bus company in Metro Manila, its like riding in an airplane, theres no like tomorrow, always pray because they are "hataw" drivers,I love the on-time schedule of RM Liner but please, be awake on the whole ride with this bus company. If your a road warrior, you will appreciate the services of this bus company but if you are a faint hearted, dont avail this Bus company..Anyway,I am a road warrior and loves "hataw" rides, its like your traveling in Kennon Road in Baguio at the speed of 120 kph in a zigzag road.RM Liner is a great bus company, got free WIFI on board plus noiseless bus.
ReplyDeleteanonymou, you think driving at 120 kph on a winding road is fun? just wait til you meet an accident. poor souls on the other vehicle if ever :(
ReplyDeletegrabeh 15 hrs.. sa Zest air (Kalibo ang baba mo) P952.00 lng ang fare... search nyo
ReplyDeleteSir backpacking,Im just honest on what I've experience with RM Liner.I wanna send the message across the net.Thats why I elaborated, that if your faint hearted NEVER try to AVAIL the services of that BUS COMPANY.Go check out this bus company starting from MANILA to CATICLAN.As I recall ginawa nilang race track yung zigzag road from Roxas Oriental Mindoro to Calapan at the speed of 100-120kph.Dont worry sir/madam its a tongue in a cheek statement.I'm a road warrior and I love speed and also a careful motor vehicle operator.I do 120 kph on SLEX and NLEX only.
ReplyDeleteask ko lang po contact number ng roro bus sa cubao terminal
ReplyDeletehow much is your fare rates trip manila to boracay(caticlan)?and what time you will leave here?about morning time
