Jeepney Advertising: Buhay Coke

Ever noticed the now common jeepney plying several routes in metro manila sporting the bright red color of Coke? There's a variant of this one where a large bottle of coke is perched on top of the ubiquitous king of the Philippine road that I pretty much think is a sign of Philippine stagnation if not backwardness :(

did you notice the darn vehicle is parked in front of a "No Parking" sign? Pasaway kahit kailan!

Coca Cola may have resorted to an advertising blitz due to decreasing sales brought about by the now golden C2 Green Tea! :)

  3. Haha tito, C2 is also a brand of Coca Cola bottlers. Coke and C2's target markets are different so most probably Coke is reaping the rewards from C2's success =)

  6. Decrease in Coke sales maybe also attributed to the fact that more people are now getting more conscious at what they drink, they are now more inclined to choose bottled tea or fruit drinks as oppose to sodas.
