the morrow, we visited an undeveloped beach part of Iwahig Penal Colony locals call "Inagawan"
note those innocent looking waves on the backgroud. Small waves don't look challenging enough, but beneath those innocent-looking waves is a "kantilado" (from spanish acantilado meaning cliff) where undercurrents will toss you around in different directions. Once you're caught inside the danger zone, it's useless to struggle. Just go with the flow, float around, and wait for the waves heading towards the beach to push you back to shore.
Trust me on this, it's from experience.
One close friend of mine drowned there. As for me and two other friends, it's our second shot at life!

ReplyDeleteThe second time my eyes laid on the first picture created a vision that Kuya Rolan was actually showing his "audience" how beautiful heaven is... the seemingly "audience" takes capture of that wonderful paradise.
Couldn't closely see Kuya Rolan's face but the way I see it, he looks so happy. That expression gives me relief and assurance that he is now joyful and peaceful in the paradise where he is now.

Gahd, you actually posted something on it! May he rest in peace. I miss those days with him. I can't count the things we planned to do but could't because of conflicting skeds.
ReplyDeleteFour months after the Palawan tragedy is also exactly my birthday! Thanks so much for posting our Palawan trip on my special day! Sabi ko, "Hmm, Tito forgot my birthday." Iyon pala, you're busy doing this Photo and Travel blog. Coincidence? I believe it isn't so. The Lord has a reason for everything even in our most painful moments!
