Christmas Street of Policarpio, Mandaluyong City

A street in Mandaluyong has been attracting hordes of people wishing to see brightly lighted houses with Christmas lights and decorations no other street in the country can match. This post can't offer photos, just directions on how to get there.

How to get to Policarpio St., Mandaluyong

Driving Directions to Policarpio St: from EDSA southbound, turn right to Boni then drive all the way to Maysilo Circle where Mandaluyong City Hall is. Drive around the circle and exit at Boni Avenue in front of the City Hall then turn right on P. Cruz until you reach one end of Policarpio St. You can also turn right from Boni to Ballesteros, the street after Primo Cruz, then turn left on Lopez St. to the other end of the brightly-lit street of Mandaluyong.

Alternate direction to Policarpio from Manila or Quezon City: drive to Shaw Boulevard and take Acacia Lane, head to F. Ortigas St., then P. Cruz before turning right on Policarpio St.

Commute to Policarpio: From MRT Boni Station, walk towards the jeepney terminal on Pinatubo St. and board the jeepney going to Kalentong, alight at the corner of Shaw Blvd and Acacia Lane (landmark: Jollibee) then transfer to a jeepney with signboard Hulo and get off at the corner of P. Cruz and Policarpio.

From Quiapo,ride a jeepney going to Pasig, alight at Jollibee Shaw/Acacia Lane and transfer to a Hulo-bound jeep. The other end of the jeepney route is on Victorino St.

  2. anonymous, none. policarpio is a small residential road, the christmas lights are now at Maysilo Circle around Mandaluyong City Hall or try Ayala Triangle Gardens for the musical lights show in Makati
