Ultrabus: Roro Bus to Tacloban, Leyte Samar from Cubao

The green buses of Ultrabus, short for United Land Transport and Bus Company Inc, seen by Tutubi on EDSA and then crossing San Juanico Bridge in Samar going to Leyte, is a bus line servicing the Manila to Tacloban, Leyte route, the gateway to Eastern Visayas (Region 6).

Herewith is Ultrabus information for those going to Samar and Leyte or Waray going to Manila on a limited budget, lots of time and can tolerate aching butts while enjoying the scenery while enduring a very long land travel with a Ro-ro boat ride in between.

going to the ticketing office. Ticket valid for January, August,
September, October, November.

Bus Route: Manila to Tacloban
From EDSA, SLEX, Maharlika Highway to Batangas, Laguna, Quezon province,
Bicol (Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon) then takes the
Ro-ro ferry in Matnog, Sorosogon to Allen, Northern Samar, proceeds to
Samar, crosses San Juanico Bridge then finally Tacloban City.
